Wine slushies hit the cool spot between a summer drink and boozy dessert. They work poolside, backyard parties any time of day or night, and long weekend brunches. Plus, they're easy to make in batches, which helps with prep work.
If you're looking to step up your cocktail game this summer, you might want to give these wine slushies recipes a spot on your menu.
1. Frozen Sangria Slushie
Sangria is one of my favorite fruity summer cocktails . Kick it up at notch by blending together white wine (moscato wine is suggested), citrus rum, triple sec, frozen pineapple, and frozen strawberries for a super smooth wine slushie to sip on by the pool.
You can also try out different fruit combinations like frozen peaches and mango or raspberries and blueberries in this wine slushie recipe.
2. Triple Berry Wine Slush
Blending together mixed berries and red wine is sure to make a gorgeous colored wine slushie. This recipe calls for you to simply blend the fresh or frozen fruit with your favorite red wine, ginger ale and a little sugar. Freeze in a large container and once it's frozen, just break it up into pieces and serve in wine glasses.
Now all you have to decide is if you're going to drink this with a straw or scoop it up with a spoon!
3. Strawberry Peach White Wine Slushie
This might just be my new favorite wine slushie recipe for the summer! Perfect for entertaining and so simple to whip up.
First, you'll blend together about half of the white wine with with the frozen peaches and ice cubes and pour that mixture into wine glasses. Next, you'll blend the rest of the white wine with frozen strawberries and ice cubes and use it to top off the peach slush. Garnish this with some fresh mint or fresh fruit.
4. Berrylicious Frozen Sangria Slushie
I'll drink any type of sangria that's in front of me, but I'm a sucker for red wine sangria. Simply add ice cubes, red wine, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, raspberries, orange flavored liquor, orange juice and a little sugar into a blender until smooth and serve immediately or pop it in the freezer.
Not a bad way to cool down, right?
5. Orange-Peach Mimosa Slushies
6. Frozen Peach Bellini
This summer drink is not only great to make during the summertime, but you can also get your Bellini fix in year round since the recipe calls for frozen peaches (fresh always works, too).
Blend together the peach slices, simple syrup, and prosecco and serve this with your next Bellini bar.
7. Watermelon Wine Slushie
This is one of the easiest wine slushie recipes you'll ever make. Place frozen watermelon cubes and white wine in a blender and combine until smooth.
I'd say this counts as a healthy cocktail.
8. Rosé Wine Slushie
If you're a rosé drinker, this wine slushie recipe is for you. When you combine the rosé, simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice cubes together, you get this perfectly refreshing concoction that just screams summertime.
9. Cherry Red Wine Slushie
I'd love to see this wine slushie come out of one of those machines at the store. Fruity and bursting with delicious flavors, this cherry red wine slushie is actually pretty good for you too, so drink up!
10. Ombré Wine Slushies
All you need for these ombré wine slushies are three bottles of wine (red wine, pink moscato wine, and white wine), a blender and a bunch of ice cube trays.
Pour each wine into ice cube trays, freeze and add ice into the blender. If you like things on the sweeter side, add in a splash of simple syrup to the wine cubes. Don't forget to top this wine slushie recipe off with some fresh fruit and mint.
