Midland, "Lonely For You Only"

Texas trio Midland releases their highly anticipated album On the Rocks this Friday (Sept. 22). Yesterday, Wide Open Country premiered "Lonely For You Only," a traditional tear-in-your-beer track that sounds like a lost Gary Stewart cut.  Listen to the track here.

Turnpike Troubadours, "Old Time Feeling (Like Before)"

Turnpike Troubadours can spin a tale of lost or vanishing romance as easily as a rowdy barnburner. On their latest," Old Time Feeling (Like Before)," it's the former. The beautifully haunting song follows a man wrought with relationship doubts. The Turnpike Troubadours will release their fourth studio album, A Long Way From Your Hearton Oct. 20.

The Texas Gentlemen, "Gone"

North Texas outfit the Texas Gentlemen have spent the past few years as a sought-after backing band, working with an impressive roster from Leon Williams to Kris Kristofferson. On the newly released TX Jelly the gents step into the spotlight themselves with a stellar mix of swampy country funk and southern rock. "Gone," a raucous ode to rambling, is one of the album's standout tracks.

Shania Twain, "We Got Something They Don't"

Shania Twain built her incredible career on expertly mixing country and pop and she doesn't seem to be straying from the winning formula on her upcoming album Now, out Sept. 29. "We Got Something They Don't" is a hopeful, horn-laden track about relationship bliss.

Whitney Rose, "Better to My Baby"

Whitney Rose blends a 1960s groove with a country sound on the irresistible "Better to My Baby," a Ronettes-inspired song about letting go. Rose's sophomore album Rule 62 drops Oct. 6.
