Kill your weeds

ACV can be a pet-friendly weed killer. Use it straight up in a spray bottle to tame your lawn. Mix it with dish soap and it will double as an insecticide.

Put a stop to dandruff

Dandruff can really get in the way of life and be embarrassing to deal with. For a mildly flaky scalp, mix water and vinegar equally and work into scalp once or twice a week.

You can also mix ACV with your normal shampoo. A quick search online will lead you to hundreds of different ACV mixtures and remedies for dandruff.

Improve your complexion

Vinegar itself contains a wealth of vitamins (potassium, calcium, beta carotene, and more), can aid in balancing the pH level for clearer skin, and can help clean up acne.

You can use ACV as a spot-treatment by gently dabbing ACV onto the skin where needed. Make sure to rinse it off with warm water five minutes or less after applying.

Freshen up a smelly room

Trying to knock out the stink in your house? Boil ACV or simmer in a pan for about an hour to rid the main area of your home of the stench. For a separate, closed room that needs extra freshening up, just leave a bowl of vinegar sitting in there until the smell disappears.

Stop stinky feet in their tracks

Whether you're trying to fight foot fungus, athlete's foot or just looking for a way to get your husband's feet to stop smelling up the whole house, ACV should do the trick. Simply soak feet in a mixture of a half cup of ACV and about seven cups of water.

Stop a mosquito bite from itching

There is nothing worse than mosquito bites. You know scratching will make it worse, but how do you not? A quick swab of ACV on the bite should put the kibosh on the incessant itching!

Help combat fleas on dogs

If you're looking for an all-natural way to rid your dogs of fleas, mix one cup of ACV and one quart of warm water and thoroughly work it into your dog's fur.You can also add 1 ounce of Castille soap or two drops of lavender oil if you have some lying around.

Comb through the wet fur before rinsing, and voila! Be careful not get this in your dog's eyes.

Clean your coffee maker

This works like a charm! When your coffee maker starts to drip slowly, it's time to bust out the ACV. Combine two parts water and one part vinegar, and run the mixture through like you're making a pot of coffee.

Run it again, maybe even twice, with just water to make sure your next cup of Folgers doesn't have a hint of vinegar in it.
