Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are undoubtedly one of music's cutest couples, but they're not necessarily a pair that many people would have expected in the beginning. Shelton, an unabashed country boy and longtime country singer, first met pop star and former No Doubt frontwoman Stefani on the set of The Voice. The two were married in July 2021, and despite their different upbringings and styles, they say they match perfectly.

Stefani recently posted a short video on TikTok that references their differences and affirms that they are the perfect fit for one another. The video is made up of clips of the couple's life together: from hanging out backstage, to riding in a truck, to performing onstage and more.
In the caption, Stefani points to their polar opposite backgrounds, with Shelton from Oklahoma and Stefani hailing from California.
"When you're with a guy from Oklahoma who rides tractors and you're from Orange County, but it just works," she writes.
@gwenstefani it just works ?? @Blake Shelton
The video is set to Stefani's new song, "True Babe," which also points out their differences. In the portion the singer used for the video, she sings, "And we're from two different worlds, but you still call me your pretty girl, pretty girl / Before you it was all a blur / Come on, call me your pretty girl, pretty girl."
Stefani often shares moments from her life with Shelton. This summer, she has been keeping fans up to date with her flower garden, sharing a video of the many flowers she and Shelton have been growing on their Oklahoma property.
The singer is also busy gearing up for season 24 of The Voice. While Shelton officially retired from the singing competition show after season 23, Stefani is stepping up to coach her seventh season this fall. She joins returning coaches John Legend and Niall Horan as well as new coach Reba McEntire. All four coaches and Carson Daly recently posted for their first-ever selfie together while on set.
The Voice premieres Sept. 25 on NBC.
