In the clip, the singer reads out a daily schedule during that time in her life, and it started bright and early with hair and makeup at 5:30 in the morning. The young actress then had live interviews from about 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., after which she met with editors from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. She was then able to go back to her hotel, but notes that she had another interview during which "the reporters are all fifth grade students." The young star then met up with her dad for an afternoon interview, and her day continued with more interviews and photoshoots until well after 6 p.m.
Cyrus notes that this was a common schedule during this time, adding that her next day — a Saturday — began at 7 a.m. and ended at 7:30 p.m. After promotion days, she says she would fly home and be back on the Hannah Montana set by Monday morning. This schedule would be grueling for anyone, and Cyrus was only about 12 or 13 years old when she was working these types of days.
After reading out the schedule, she confidently says, "I'm a lot of things, but lazy ain't one of them."
A person behind the camera, who some commenters recognize as Cyrus' mom, Tish, then said, "That truly was the next four years of your life."
"Yeah," Cyrus agrees.
"I do think this girl deserves a little endless summer vacation," she adds, referencing her latest studio album.
