Making this whiskey cocktail at home is almost as easy as ordering your childhood favorite. It's such a simple cocktail that it barely takes any prep time. The 5 ingredients you'll need are fresh cherries, Coca-Cola, bourbon, grenadine and a muddler.
If you don't have a cocktail shaker, use a large glass to stir all the ingredients. Once mixed, pour into rocks glasses to serve. Sip, relax and enjoy.
Any bourbon of your choice will work, but we recommend a Canadian whisky, like Crown Royal. If you're feeling nostalgic, go ahead and garnish with maraschino cherries. If this doesn't transport you straight to childhood, we don't know what will.

This cocktail is, you guessed it, a spin on the classic old fashioned. Similar to cherry bourbon Coke, this drink is also quick and easy to make. The total time from start to finish is 5 minutes. You'll need bourbon, orange bitters, lime juice honey and cherries. All you need to do is muddle the ingredients in a bar shaker, shake and pour over ice.

Cherry Bourbon Coke Slushy:
If you're feeling the heat, this is a great spin on the classic. To ensure you have ice cold coca-cola, pour the soda into ice cube trays to set. Then, use the coke ice cubes as the base for the slushy. Some recipes call for using grenadine if you don't have fresh cherries. The syrup will easily mimic the cherry flavor.

Cherry Bourbon Coke
Ingredients
- 4 oz Bourbon
- 2 Tbsp cherry juice
- 1 Tbsp grenadine
- 16 oz coca-cola
- Maraschino cherries
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker add bourbon, cherry juice, and grenadine. Stir together and add coca-cola. Pour into iced glasses and top with a Maraschino cherry.
