If there's one thing you can count on while stepping onto a Krispy Kreme it's the overwhelmingly delicious scent of fresh doughnuts. While sticking with the classics is always a good idea, Krispy Kreme and Reese's brand have teamed up to bring customers a doughnut so outrageous, they simply had to name it the "Reese's Outrageous Doughnut".

Starting today, Krispy Kreme shops all over the United States are serving up the Reese's Outrageous Doughnut, the second collaboration with Reese's brand. Last year the two came together to form the Krispy Kreme Reese's Peanut Butter Doughnut which featured a doughnut filled with a smooth peanut butter filling, hand-dipped in chocolate icing, then topped with Reese's ® peanut butter chips and vanilla biscuit crumbs. The brands also created an Easter Egg donut together which featured the same filling and a creative egg-style decoration.
This year, Reese's and Krispy Kreme pulled out all the stops.
"This is hands down the most outrageous doughnut experience we've created! The Reese's Outrageous Doughnut strikes a perfect balance of taste and texture sensations with an airy chocolate doughnut, gooey caramel and peanut butter drizzle, and classic crunch of Reese's Pieces," said Mike Tattersfield, Chief Executive Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
The doughnut starts as a chocolate yeast dough doughnut which is fried to perfection. The doughnut is dipped in Hershey's chocolate fudge icing, topped with mini Reese's Pieces and drizzled with Reese's peanut butter and salted caramel sauce. Decadent is this doughnut's middle name.
The doughnut creation was based off Reese's Outrageous Bar, which is made of Reese's peanut butter, caramel, crunchy Reese's Pieces candy, then covered entirely in chocolate.
Since these treats are only here for a limited time, we highly recommend making your way to your local Krispy Kreme to grab a doughnut (or dozen) before they are all gone.
