Taco Bell is Cutting 9 Fan Favorites From Its Menu
Taco Bell recently shared on their blog about the revamp, mentioning how the turn of seasons usually prompt people to cut their hair or purchase a new wardrobe of clothes. Beginning September 12th, 2019, the entire menu is getting a new look and some old favorites didn't make the cut. These include:
- Beefy Mini Quesadilla
- Tortilla Chips & Salsa
- Chipotle Chicken Loaded Griller
- Double Decker Taco
- Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos
- Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos
- Double Tostada
- Power Menu Burrito
- XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito
The most surprising tacos leaving the menu are the Taco Bell Doritos locos tacos, however, don't fret yet, the Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos will still be available on the new menu as well as the supreme version which includes the addition of sour cream and chopped tomatoes. As much as people liked the Cool Ranch and Fiery taco shell flavors, the most popular choice was nacho cheese, making it an easy decision to cut the other two flavors.
The brand-new look is user-friendly and much easier to read. The brand also changed around their new combos and numbers to the following:
- 3 Crunchy Tacos Supreme
- 3 Soft Tacos Supreme
- Burrito Supreme
- Steak Quesarito
- Nacho BellGrande
- 2 Chicken Chalupas Supreme
- Chicken Quesadilla
- Mexican Pizza
- Crunchwrap Supreme
- Cheesy Gordita Crunch
- Breakfast Crunchwrap
- Grande Scrambler
- Breakfast Quesadilla
Out with the old and in with the new. Earlier this year the brand cut the popular Caramel Apple Empanada and Gordita Supreme, making the total menu items up to 11 for the year, a hefty chunk of the menu. Are new items on the horizon? We'll just have to wait and see.
