Oh, how we've missed them! Chip & Joanna Gaines are coming back to television and are bringing your favorite home renovation show to a new network! Announced today in a press release and on Chip's personal blog, Fixer Upper stars Chip Gaines and Joanna are chomping at the bit to renovate homes in the Waco, Texas area. When they finished their final episode on HGTV in April 2018, the couple thought it was the end of a chapter.

The day we wrapped our final episode of Fixer Upper, we really believed it was a chapter closed. A bittersweet ending to a season of our lives that we couldn't have been more grateful for. In that moment, the future was a little uncertain, but Jo and I were sure of a few things. We knew we needed a break and a moment to catch our breath.
Chip shares in a blog post.
But we also knew we weren't done dreaming about ways to make old things new again. And these past few years, we've continued tackling renovations and projects that we've both been passionate about, including a few really special ones that we can't wait for you to watch unfold on the network when it launches.
Maybe it was the end of a chapter, but it certainly wasn't the end of a book. The couple has been quietly working on creating the Magnolia Network, a joint venture with Discovery, inc. Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Network is set to take over Discovery's DIY Network and includes eight new unscripted television shows. The channel was set to launch this year, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the launch, including the new season of Fixer Upper, has been pushed to 2021.

We can't wait to see what the interior designer and contractor have it store. Like the previous seasons, I'm sure we'll get a look at the Gaines' home and their kids, Drake, Ella Rose, Emmie Kay, Crew, and Duke.
