What is the Chocolate Cake Shot?

The shot is made of a hazelnut liqueur, vodka, and a lemon wedge covered in sugar, seemingly as a garnish but the lemon slice is also important to the drink itself. You'll need a shot glass to enjoy the drink as well.
Frangelico liqueur is a common liqueur suggested for the drink. It is a gold-colored liqueur made with Tonda Gentile hazelnuts and includes "natural flavoring extracts and distillates such as cocoa, coffee, and vanilla," according to the Spruce Eats.
Regular vodka is fine for the drink, but you can also consider flavored vodkas like vanilla vodka. The combo along with the sugar on the lemon — along with a sugar rim if you really wanna get crazy — tastes remarkably like a chocolate cake you'd enjoy at a birthday party. German chocolate cake and upside-down cake are out, the chocolate cake shot is in!
The shot is low in cholesterol and doesn't have a crazy amount of calories or carbohydrates considering it basically tastes like you're throwing back pure dessert. That's never a bad thing, right?
How Do You Make the Shot?
One chocolate cake shot and mom's drunk... now I know where I get it

All you have to do to make a chocolate cake shot is combine 1 part of the hazelnut liqueur and 1 part vodka in a shot glass, then coat the lemon piece with sugar. Then, suck on the lemon wedge and drink the shot when the sour juice is still in your mouth. It's that easy!
So if you've already mastered other cocktails and shots like the buttery nipple and lemon drop, why not give this one a "shot" next?
