The spiky-blonde haired has not only studied her culinary skills in Italy but worked in some of the best New York restaurants. Whether in Brooklyn or Buffalo, Italian restaurants in New York state are hard to beat. She was also a contestant on Iron Chef America, specifically The Next Iron Chef. It's easy to see what Iron chef wanted with Anne Burrell, given her long list of talents rivaling chefs like Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri, and other celebrity chef co-hosts.
Born the Marlene Burrell in upstate NY, Anne Burrell's passion for food grew in her early life. She got a college degree from Canisius College in English, which after she went on to pursue culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America (Institute of Culinary Education), according to her Wiki.
"Following graduation, she spent a year in Italy attending the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners while working at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del' 30, a Michelin one-star restaurant in Tuscany. During this year, Anne grew to truly appreciate and understand the philosophy of Italian cuisine and culture, which left a lasting impact on her culinary point of view," Food Network stated.
Burrell then moved out to New York City where she landed her first sous chef gig working under Lidia Bastianich, which led to her next chef gig at the Savoy.
Not too long later, she moved on up to Executive chef at another restaurant and released a book, "Cook Like A Rockstar" in 2011.
Later in her career, she also joined Food Network for an array of shows.
"Anne makes restaurant dishes accessible and reveals concise, easy-to-master techniques for the at-home cook on her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. On her show Chef Wanted, Anne helps top restaurateurs find candidates with the right experience and creativity to become executive chefs. On Worst Cooks in America, Anne joins Tyler Florence in mentoring teams of hopeless home cooks from around the country, putting them through culinary boot camp."

"She's hosted, judged and competed in a frankly astounding amount of various cooking shows, with her biggest early exposure arguably being her stint as chef Mario Batali's sous chef on "Iron Chef." As such, if her career trajectory and estimated net worth are any indication, being a chef can be pretty lucrative," Mashed reported.
According to Mashed, Burrell is worth more than 5 million. Talk about celebrity net worth! With the amount of exposure she's had in both NYC, and on TV shows as a television personality, that number is unsurprising.

Burrell is also very much still on TV, being a mentor on the Food Network Show Worst Cooks in America: Best of the Worst. She just happened to win her thirteenth win in the history of the series. A big victory for American chefs.
