The restaurant's website explains that "the aesthetics of the venue are heavily influenced by Reba's Western heritage and include a curated collection of memorabilia from Reba's personal archives that will regularly change." This makes the new spot ideal for any Reba lovers in town who want to get an inside glimpse into Reba's world while enjoying live music and eating delicious food.
Reba announced her plans for the live music venue alongside Chief Gary Batton at a concern in Durant, Oklahoma. She's partnering with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the City of Atoka to bring her dream to fruition.
Reba said, "We're really tickled; we're very excited about it. It's going to have great food, family atmosphere, a bandstand in there where we can do a little pickin' and grinnin.' And, we're hoping by the end of next year, around September 2022 ... that we'll be ready for serving you guys to come up and see us."
Along with a dining area and stage, the venue will have a retail store and a century-old restored antique bar serving craft cocktails, beer, wine and spirits. The retail space will have new merchandise created for the venue.
As for the menu, Reba decided to feature a combination of cuisines, including dishes from places like Mexico, New Orleans and Nashville alongside popular regional dishes. A few menu highlights are street tacos, chicken fried steak, 'Fancy' steak dinner, and Reba's favorite dish, pinto beans and corn bread.
