The Suspect's Name Was Reportedly Released
The Daily Mail, a British news outlet, is reporting that the suspect in custody is Jay Steven Berger. He was spotted with a bloody face and was reportedly removed from the hotel by stretcher.
He allegedly shot at people on another balcony of the Four Seasons. There was a large police presence at the hotel, which went into lockdown. The shooter was reportedly wearing some type of rubber mask.
What Supposedly Started The Incident
Per the outlet, "At a press conference after the shooting, police said the incident began when a hotel staffer tried to enter Berger's room, and found him suffering some kind of mental health 'crisis' episode.

Berger flung furniture from the balcony. He started shooting at a man and woman who were filming the incident from across the street. Per the outlet, "Officials said at the press conference that Berger also fired through the walls of his unit and at buildings across the street."
