Just days after dropping a new single and announcing his recent engagement, the "House Party" singer will stop in Houston to perform during the upcoming Super Bowl LI festivities. Hunt is the latest addition to the growing slate of artists playing concerts leading up to the annual football event.
Hunt will perform on Feb. 5, the Thursday night before Super Bowl Sunday, at Houston's Club Nomadic.
Club Nomadic is a "traveling night club" and the annual home of the Super Bowl's biggest concerts. Hunt will perform alongside pop dance duo The Chainsmokers on a double bill. Tickets for the double-set are $100, and go on sale this Saturday.
Other artists performing at Club Nomadic during Super Bowl week include Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift. Both of their concerts sold out within a day of their announcements.
Club Nomadic is a 62,500 square-foot, three tiered nightclub on Edwards Street in the Houston Arts District. The aim of the club is to build, tear down, and move to any location in the country with ease. According to club operator Jack Murphy, the capacity for Club Nomadic is around 9,000 people.
Sam Hunt's shared bill with Chainsmokers will serve as the Houston opening for Club Nomadic. The traveling club will close following the end of Super Bowl LI.
