Bo Henry, a businessman and musician from Albany, Ga., is working to help organize the event. "We reached out in desperation to the guys who can really raise money, enough to make a difference in our region," he explained.

So far, American Idol champion Phillip Phillips and songwriter Dallas Davidson have also signed on to perform. "This is a time for us to get together and raise some money for people who need it," Davidson said.

"[The concert] is vital" Sherrell Byrd, Public Information Officer of Dougherty County, says. "We need all the help we can get." Dougherty County is among the areas in Georgia affected by the recent tornado outbreak.
Organizers are busy planning the specific time and date for the event, but advise fans to be patient. "It's not going to happen in the next week or two," Henry commented. Working out the artists' schedules will take some time, but good things come to those who wait.
