On Thursday morning (Aug. 10), Taylor Swift testified in a Denver court during the ongoing groping lawsuit involving ex-country DJ David Mueller.

Swift described Mueller's alleged actions as "horrifying and shocking," and said, "It was a devious and sneaky act."

Swift alleges that in 2013 Mueller groped her during a meet-and-greet event at the Pepsi Center in Denver. She claims the assault occurred when she posed for a picture with Mueller and his girlfriend at the time.

She later informed Mueller's radio station, KYGO, which subsequently launched an internal investigation that resulted in Mueller's termination.

In 2015 Mueller, filed a lawsuit against Swift for defamation, claiming that his termination from the station was unlawful and harmed his future job prospects.

In response, Swift countersued, insisting that Mueller "Intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission."

Mueller claimed it was his boss, Hershel Coomer (known professionally as Eddie Haskell) and not he himself who groped Swift.

Swift adamantly countered that claim in court. NBC reported that Swift said she could have picked Mueller "out of a line of 1000." According to CNN Swift added, "This is what happened," she testified. "It happened to me, I know it was him."

Reporter Amanda Zitzman, who was in the courtroom, tweeted that Swift said that Mueller and his girlfriend seemed inebriated during the 2013 meet-and-greet, saying, "It appeared to me that the two of them had a few cocktails."

The questioning became abrasive at times, Swift reportedly remained resolute in her account of the event.

One of the key pieces of evidence in the case is a photo of the encounter published by TMZ.

"Gabe, this is a photo of him with his hand up my skirt, with his hand on my ass," Swift said to Mueller's attorney, Gabe McFarland, referring to a photo taken during the meet-and-greet. "You can ask me a million questions, I'm never going to say anything different. I never have said anything different," she insisted.

When McFarland inquired why the front of Swift's skirt didn't appear to be lifted she retorted, "Because my ass is located on the back of my body."

According to People Magazine, Swift is seeking only $1 from the lawsuit. Her lawyer, Douglas Baldridge, stated, "She's not trying to bankrupt this man. She's trying to tell people out there that you can say no when someone puts their hand on you. Grabbing a woman's rear end is an assault, and it's always wrong. Any woman - rich, poor, famous or not - is entitled to not have that happen."
