Carly Pearce's debut album, Every Little Thing, is set to release on Oct. 13. The project was a long time in the making and is the culmination of a lifelong dream for Pearce.

Pearce revealed the details of the album on SiriusXM's The Highway yesterday. Pearce performed the title track to the album at the Grand Ole Opry, and released the music video for the song in July.
The album contains collaborations between Pearce and songwriter/producer Busbee as well as Shane McAnally, Hillary Lindsey and others.
Two singles from Every Little Thing are currently available on iTunes alongside the title track. In June, Pearce released "If My Name Was Whiskey", a melancholy tune that she co-wrote with Shane McAnally and Busbee. She also shared the playful and flirtatious "Dare Ya" earlier this month.
It's been a long road for Pearce, 27, who first performed at the age of 11 with a bluegrass band in her home state of Kentucky. At 16, she convinced her parents to let her quit high school so she could move to Tennessee and get a job singing at Dollywood. Her obsession with music came in infancy, Pearce states. "My mom said the only thing that could keep me from crying was country music, and that I started singing before I could talk," she told Billboard.

Pearce's hard-fought rise to stardom comes after plenty of setbacks, such as a failed deal with Sony. Their loss is Big Machine's gain, however, and Pearce's debut album is looking pretty good from what we've seen so far.
