It was 16 years ago today that our nation changed forever. The anniversary of 9/11 is always a somber time of reflection and remembrance. Some folks commemorate it as a day of service, or thank military and first responders by bringing them food or sending hand-written cards.

Everyone has a different way to memorialize that day. Most people recall exactly where they were at the moment they found out about it.
