It may just be October, but 2018 is right around the corner. Which means it's already time to start planning some of your big concerts for the new year. We can also expect a few artists to extend some tours or announce new ones in the near future. For instance, Garth Brooks makes a habit of only announcing a few shows at a time, and you better believe he's got more cities lined up for his massive comeback tour in 2018.

Maren Morris also just announced her "Renegade Revival Run," which isn't a full tour, but rather several shows at historic venues in California and Texas in 2018. Those include Gruene Hall and Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, Calif.
But a few cornerstone country artists already announced big tours for next year. So let's take a look at the most anticipated country tours of 2018.
Shania Twain
Shania Twain is back in a big way. Her album Now just hit the shelves and she's got one of music's most anticipated country tours on deck. Her 2018 tour hits more than 40 cities, including some of her most extensive Canadian dates ever. Which should definitely make our northern country-loving friends happy to see their native daughter back on the big stage. This is Twain's first tour since her 2015 "Rock This Country" tour. They called that a "farewell" tour at the time. Well, hello again.

Mark this one for sure. You don't see a lot of tours where the headliner brings two supporting acts for the whole tour anymore. And you definitely don't see them with support from a Grammy-winning critical darling and the buzziest band in country. The three acts gave everybody a taste of what to expect when they did a phenomenal cover of ELO's "Don't Bring Me Down" on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The Breakers Tour officially starts Feb. 8 and has 23 dates listed so far through April.
Miranda Lambert with Jon Pardi and Special Guests
Miranda Lambert is mixing it up on her new Livin' Like Hippies Tour. She's bringing Jon Pardi along for the ride as a mainstay, but then using seven different acts over the course of the 23-date (so far) tour. Openers include Brent Cobb, Turnpike Troubadours, Sunny Sweeney, Ashley McBryde and more. That's a really cool thing to do. Not only do these artists have the kind of music that fans of Lambert probably love, they deserve the opportunity to get in front of some of the larger crowds Lambert draws. So do yourself a favor and grab a ticket, get to your seat early and enjoy some great music.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill (International Dates)
Tim and Faith's massively popular 2017 iteration of the Soul2Soul tour has plans to head to Europe and Australia in 2018. And that's really good news for the international country music lovers out there who haven't had a chance to see Hill, in particular, in quite a while. If they keep the show's 2017 format, they can expect amazing visuals and two-and-a-half hours of interwoven solo and duet music from the pair.
George Strait?
Already, this may be cheating, but it seems King George just can't quite hang up the boots yet. Even though he completed an amazing two-year farewell tour in 2016. But he's already got two more Las Vegas shows set for December, plus a to-be-announced show in Austin, Texas and a June date in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He may be keeping it regional for now, but those with hopes of seeing Strait another time are in luck.
