Erin Enderlin, the singing and songwriting talent behind one of last year's sleeper albums in Whiskeytown Crier, lived the dream when given the chance to collaborate with Terri Clark. The pair teamed with guitarist Alex Kline to cover "No Fear," Clark's classic Mary Chapin Carpenter co-write from the 2000 album Fearless.

"The album came out right after I moved to Nashville - in fact the very first show I went to see after moving to town was the album release show for this record Terri did at the Bluebird," Enderlin wrote in a Facebook post. "The album is really stunning. The production, the songs, everything stands the test of time as a true masterpiece. When I was first trying to chase this crazy dream of country music I used to crank "No Fear" up on my way in to writes and meetings on Music Row to get myself pumped up when I was feeling nervous."

Like Brandy Clark and Lori McKenna before her, Enderlin looks to transition from songwriter-for-hire to solo star. Her duet partner needs no introduction. As "the lady in the cowboy hat," Clark shunned '90s fashion expectations en route to chart success. It's great that the new wave of talented women in Nashville make a point to celebrate the works of Clark, Sara Evans and other talents that're still putting on great live shows and recording heartfelt country music.
