Catching Chris Stapleton without his cowboy hat on is odd enough, but imagine seeing him without his signature beard shaved off? A few years ago, Stapleton posted a couple of pictures to Instagram that blow most #ThrowbackThursday pictures out of the water, mainly due to his lack of whiskers, a big surprise considering how he's looked in recent years.

The sly grin juxtaposing his stern brow really gives it away that the guy on the far right is Stapleton, but is Chris even sure he's in this next picture?

Of course, it takes time to grow such a majestic beard, easily 3+ months, and there's probably some sort of some sort of spell that has to be cast or one has to complete a quest to earn the right to wield a beard as mighty as Stapleton's, but it's still odd to see him without it. It's almost like seeing a duck without its bill or a tiger without its stripes.
Chris Stapleton 2024 Tour
Stapleton recently announced his 2024 tour. Moving forward, he is performing in August in New Hampshire, Tennessee, and more nearby states before taking a break in September.
In October he'll be in Texas, before moving his legendary performances international to Great Britain and New Zealand before his last tour of 2024 is in Las Vegas.
2020 Tour
The country superstar was joined by Willie Nelson and Family at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas and Lexington, Kentucky's Kroger Field for A Concert for Kentucky. The concert's net proceeds will go to Chris and Morgane Stapleton's Outlaw State of Kind Hometown Fund.
Stapleton will make his headlining debut at Chicago's Wrigley Field with his Aug. 29 show featuring The Highwomen, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and The Dirty Knobs with Mike Campbell.
Stapleton released his breakout album Traveller, featuring "Tennessee Whiskey," in 2015. In 2017, he released From A Room: Vol. 1 and From A Room: Vol. 2.
