Country music star Thomas Rhett released the sweetest music video for the fourth single from his 2017 album, Life Changes. The title track single "Life Changes," written by Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure, Rhett Akins, and Thomas Rhett, takes listeners through Rhett's personal journey from a songwriter in his dorm college room to a proud father, happy husband, and successful musician.

In the video, fans see Rhett as they normally do -- on stage performing for a sold-out crowd. But viewers also get a glimpse behind the scenes at his family, including his wife Lauren and his daughters Willa Gray and Ada James, as they join him on the road. Filmed throughout the month of May on the Life Changes Tour, the clips of Rhett with his girls will draw a grin, and perhaps a tear or two, from those who connect to his music.

"This song is super personal and reflects exactly how much things have changed for me in the past year," Rhett stated in a press release. "Having the girls out on tour has changed what being on the road looks like for me ... It just seems to keep getting more and more fun. And I think the fans might even cheer louder for them than me!"

Life Changes, Rhett's third record, featured the huge hits "Marry Me," "Craving You" (featuring Maren Morris), and "Unforgettable." The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and gained Rhett a nomination for a 2018 Grammy for Best Country Album.

A lyric edit was included in the song following the birth of daughter, Ada James. Rhett sings, "Now Lauren's showing, got one on the way" is altered to "Now there's Willa, and sweet Ada James."

'Life Changes' Lyrics:

Waking up in my college dorm
Yeah, my life, it was pretty normal
Looking for a date to the spring formal
Wasn't worried 'bout nothing else, no
Majoring in undecided
Notebook full of songs I was writing
Never dreamed anyone else would like 'em
Now they're sitting on a Walmart shelf

Ain't it funny how life changes
You wake up, ain't nothing the same and life changes
You can't stop it, just hop on the train and
You never know what's gonna happen
You make your plans and you hear God laughing
Life changes, and I wouldn't change it for the world, the world, oh no
And I wouldn't change it for the world, the world, oh no

I bought a ring and she said "I do"
But everybody else said, "Man, you're twenty-two"
"Whatcha trying to prove?"
"Hey why don't you wait?"
'Cause I've been waiting on her since the second grade, yeah
And now she got her own set of fans
She got a blue check mark by her Instagram
And I wrote a little song about holding her hand and now everybody wanna die a happy man

Ain't it funny how life changes
You wake up ain't nothing the same and life changes
You can't stop it just hop on the train
You never know what's gonna happen
You make your plans and you God laughing
Life changes (yes it does) and I wouldn't change it for the world, the world, oh no
And I wouldn't change it for the world, the world, oh no

I remember the day I told my Daddy and Mama you're gonna have a grandkid, yep
From Uganda, that's right, we're adopting
And she is the cutest little girl that you've ever seen
Well I was wrapping my head around being a dad
A bigger wrench got thrown in the plans we thought we'd had
Now there's Willa and sweet Ada James,
Yeah that's two into two, hey, what can I say?

Ain't it funny how life changes
You wake up ain't nothing the same and life changes
You can't stop it just hop on the train and
You never know what's gonna happen
You make your plans and you God laughing
Life changes (yes it does) and I wouldn't change it for the world, the world, oh no
And I wouldn't change it for the world, the world, oh no
The world, the world
The world, the world
