Brad Paisley, who collaborated with Lovato on their 2016 song "Without a Fight," was among the first to comment on the news.

"My friend [Demi Lovato] is one of the kindest, most talented people I've ever met," he wrote in a tweet. "Praying for her right now, addiction is a terrifying disease. There is no one more honest or brave than this woman."

Other country stars who have shared their well wishes for Lovato include Dan + Shay, Chely Wright, Jason Isbell, Maren Morris and Kalie Shorr.

Lovato has been open about her struggles with addiction in the past. Just last month, she released the song "Sober," in which Lovato revealed that she had relapsed after six years of sobriety.
