Buck Owens' Former Bakersfield Home is Up For Sale

The former home of American country music icon Buck Owens is up for sale in Bakersfield, California, north of Los Angeles.

This home was built in 1949 and sits on .93 acres. It's currently listed at $575K.

Fronting the Buckaroos, achieving 21 No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts, and co-hosting Hee Haw made country singer Buck Owens a honky tonk legend beyond the streets of Bakersfield.

Owens was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. He passed away in 2006 after playing at his own venue, the Crystal Palace on Buck Owens Blvd., about 10 minutes away from the home seen here.
