According to the Associated Press, the "Redneck Woman" singer was arrested at Bradley International Airport in Windsor, Connecticut on Tuesday night. Around 7 p.m. last night (Aug. 21), Connecticut State Police responded to a call from an incoming flight at the airport. Wilson reportedly "became belligerent" and "caused a disturbance" while being interviewed by state police.

The country music star was charged with breach of peace and was taken into custody with bond set at $1,000.

People reports that 45-year-old Wilson, who now lives in Lebanon, Tennessee, will enter court on Wednesday. She was scheduled to perform a special invite-only concert at the Mohegan Sun Casino this evening. So far, Wilson has not commented on the incident.

In 2004, Wilson won the Best Female Country Vocal Performance Grammy for her smash hit "Redneck Woman." Some of her other major country hits include "All Jacked Up" and "Here for the Party."
