The Deer Farm is really the perfect combination of animals and scenery. With mountain views and nestled in the hills, you'll be up close and personal with the animals and feel like you're meeting them out in the wild, not just in a pen at some park. And that's to say nothing of the incredible sights you'll see if you go horseback riding through the countryside surrounding the Deer Farm.

The beauty of the farm is inside its 143 acres that gives the animals ample room to run wild and free. The park hosts are known for being patient, knowledgeable, and most importably, kind. The reviews for the park are overall positive, though you'd do yourself a favor to pack some bug spray as it seems the natural environment isn't just for mammals. Reviews noted that spider bites were not uncommon, though not harmful, and that the shady trails make for gorgeous visits year-round.

So the next time you're in Tennessee and looking for something to do, you don't have to stop with just Dollywood, Graceland, Beale Street, or a Volunteers football game. You can play with deer, see Africa's version of a longhorn, and take a horseback ride through some of America's most beautiful country.
