For a ninth straight year, Martina McBride will spend late November and a bulk of December lending her instantly recognizable soprano voice to holiday favorites for her annual The Joy of Christmas Tour.

This year's 14-date jaunt begins Nov. 29 in Biloxi, Miss. and passes through several major markets, including Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago and St. Louis.
"This show is so much fun to do," says McBride in a press release. "We have everything from classic hymns like 'O Holy Night' to fun, big band swing classics like 'Winter Wonderland' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.' It's all very visual, the songs are well-loved, and you leave with a warm feeling. I love to think of entire families—from grandparents to grandchildren—enjoying The Joy of Christmas. It's really a show for the whole family."
McBride released two of the better Christmas albums by modern country stars 20 years apart: 1998's White Christmas and 2018's It's the Holiday Season. She rose to prominence with her debut 1992 single "The Time Has Come" and later developed a crossover-friendly sound that kept the hits coming well into the 21st century.
