The log home welcomes visitors to their festive open house that showcases all of their decorations that are spread throughout the house. The grounds showcase countless decorated Christmas trees that each have their own theme or represent a certain time period. Join your family and friends on the tree walk and everyone can choose their favorite trees of the vast display.

The annual Christmas Tree Walk first started back in 2004 with 30 decorated trees. During the 2018 Christmas season, they had 220 trees with over 2,000 visitors stopping in to experience the holiday wonderland. In addition to the many trees, there are also scenic fairy light displays, ornaments, nativity scenes and more.

Tickets for 2019 are available now on select dates in December: December 6-9, 13-16, 20-23, and 27-30. The open house will run from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. each night, with ticket prices running $17 per adult and $10 per child. While it's not open on Christmas Day, this would be a great way to celebrate the season with the family either before or after the big day. Note that for next year, there are discounted ticket rates available before December in case you want to plan ahead!

There are no outside food or beverages allowed inside the home. We don't want someone dropping their hot chocolate all over the beautiful display! There will be select refreshments and snacks available for purchase at the ThumbPrint News office ticket counter. Or you can grab a meal beforehand at the nearby Foxfire Fixin

Be sure to check the event's website for more FAQ and details on upcoming events.
