Honey's Place Montana

This 1915 Montana Barn is a Stunning Cozy Getaway

Just an hour outside of the stunning Glacier National Park in Kalispell, Montana, on the north end of Flathead Lake, is maybe one of the most incredible AirBnbs you'll ever see. Honey's Place, located at the base of the Swan Mountain Range, is a beautiful old barn turned vacation rental dating back to 1915. Though the structure was moved from its original location to where it's currently standing in 2007, you'll never be able to tell the difference. A lot of work was done on the interior and the end result is an incredible home away from home with breathtaking views of the mountains

The barn is the perfect distance from some of the major attractions of the area, but it still feels remote and relaxing. You're just minutes away from the nearby town of Whitefish and the small, eclectic towns of Bigfork, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, Flathead Valley and more. The house will sleep six guests comfortably between its queen bed and three full-size beds. There's an area for a campfire outside and there's an opportunity to rent paddleboards for an extra $25/day. Did I mention this is one of the most beautiful settings I've ever seen? Check availability on their Airbnb page here to book your getaway ASAP. It's also helpful knowing that the owners are right next door in the farmhouse in case anything comes up during your stay.

After check-in, you can unwind in the hot tub area before you stargaze under the unobstructed views of the night sky and check out the Rocky Mountains from the 2nd story deck with a cold beverage. You can enjoy your cup of coffee or early morning breakfast watching the sunrise over the mountains from the barn's enjoyable living space. Can you think of anything more relaxing? Spend a long day's exploration of the incredible area surrounding the property or go biking on nearby trails. Your current location is not only ideal for beautiful family photos, but will also give you the quiet country evenings of your dreams.

One of the fun aspects of the property is that if you bring a signed old license plate from your home state, the owners will hang it from the rafters for future guests to see. Just looking up and enjoying the uniqueness of the interior style that pays homage to past guests makes the experience even more special. If you're coming when the weather is warm, yes, there is air conditioning. There's also free wifi in case you want to work remotely for a week at this great stay. (And who wouldn't want that?!)
