"Our little man surprised us 9 days early, late Sunday night. Still laughing thinking about my water breaking (very aggressive, movie like situation) driving myself to the hospital in Chris' truck (pantsless btw) because my car was out of gas and Dutton was sleeping," Lauren shared on Instagram along with a series of photos. The pictures of Baker meeting his big brother are particularly adorable.
"Very chaotic, unplanned and panicked but the minute he came into this world he's been nothing but peaceful and perfect," she added.
Last year, the couple welcomed baby boy Dutton Walker Lane on June 8th, 2021. It was the first child for the country singer and Bachelor alum who are based in Nashville. Both Lauren and her husband shared photos of their newborn son for the first time on social media, with Lane even saying, "Words can't describe the love i feel inside my heart for this little man!"
If the name Dutton sounds familiar, there's a reason for that. The new parents found inspiration for their baby's name from one of their favorite TV shows.
"You can take one guess where we got that from, is from the TV show Yellowstone," Lane told PopCulture.com. "And we really love the name a lot...I know it's a little different, but I think it's pretty cool."
The country singer really couldn't believe how big Dutton turned out to be...a notion we're sure many parents can probably relate to.
"Everyone in the room, including Lauren and me, were shocked we had a 9-pound baby! Not sure where he was hiding in her belly?!" Lane joked to PEOPLE.

"Watching Lauren go through the birthing process - from the beginning to the moment she delivered - was the most incredible thing I've ever witnessed. I experienced an emotion I've never felt before."
"I've never felt an immediate unconditional love like I now have for Dutton," Lauren added.
"And going through this experience with Chris has made me love and appreciate him even more ... I didn't think that was possible!"
While waiting on their little one, Lauren regularly shared posts on social media updating fans on her pregnancy and of course, pics of her growing baby bump. The former reality star, who garnered quite the Instagram from Bachelor nation following after her days as a contestant on The Bachelor (and brief engagement to Ben Higgins), also gave positive advice to other moms struggling in their pregnancy journey.
"Pregnancy is amazing! Reminder to not compare yourself to others," she wrote in February. "This is my belly but everyone's looks different! I have compared myself to friends who are about as far along as me or have been pregnant before and worried that maybe my belly or baby was too big for my gestation and for it being my first."

As for dad, who's known for his hit songs "Big, Big Plans," "Fix," and "I Don't Know About You," has already written a song for his sweet baby. The perfect way for the country star to welcome his new addition to the family.
"I've been waiting to meet Dutton for nine months now, and the easiest way for me personally to describe my feelings and emotions is to write about it! So naturally, I wrote a song," he tells PEOPLE.
"It's called 'Ain't Even Met You Yet' and sums up how I've been feeling over the last few months. I can't wait to share it with him one day."
