Anne Burrell's Wedding
This was Ray's debut as a bridesmaid, and she couldn't have found a more iconic wedding to start with. Burrell chose custom-made orange "classic fifties-style party dresses" for the bridesmaids, adding a charming vintage twist to the ceremony.
The bride went all out with her upstate New York wedding, riding a horse and carriage down the aisle. As she told PEOPLE, "I don't care about the cheese factor. Every time I mention the horse and carriage Stuart laughs a little bit, and I'm like, 'Alright, whatever. It's my moment and I mean to have it.' "
Claxton's best man was his 16-year-old son, Javier, from a previous marriage. Burrell was engaged previously to chef Koren Grieveson, but this is her first marriage. Her wedding dress was made by Carolina Herrera, who she loves because "she knows how to dress real women."
Claxton, who works at Univision in ad sales marketing, wore a classic black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren and orange Nike high-tops to add some lighthearted fun to the he and Anne Burrell's wedding. He and Burrell met on the dating app Bumble back in 2018, and got engaged during the pandemic. The wedding guests included Alex Guarnaschelli, Marc Murphy, Jeff Mauro, and Jenni "J Woww" Farley.
With the help of caters, Burrell chose an amazing menu that celebrates autumnal flavors, including short ribs, butternut squash ravioli and caviar. Her wedding cake, made by Cake Boss's Buddy Valastro, was also autumn-themed. This fall-themed cake was a zucchini cake for one flavor, and another flavor of olive oil, lemon and rosemary.
