One of country music's best new voices will be appearing on Garth Brooks' long-awaited new live album. During Monday's Inside Studio G Facebook livestream, the country superstar revealed that Ashley McBryde will make an appearance on his upcoming record, Triple Live.
"Triple Live's coming and it's coming soon," Brooks told viewers. "Ashley McBryde, does she have a song on there? Yes! Can you find a song in our catalog from Ashley McBryde? No! So this is gonna be good. This Triple Live is gonna be full of surprises and hopefully all the stuff that you kind of come to the show for, too."
Later on in the broadcast, Brooks let slip that he and McBryde collaborated for a new version of her debut album's title track.
"She's got a song called "Girl Going Nowhere" and we took a swing at it live," Brooks revealed. "I've got to tell you, it was one of my favorite if not my favorite moment[s] on the record."
Triple Live will feature recordings from various tour dates that were a part of his massive world tour that spanned the past three years. Brooks' first live album, Double Live, was released in 1998 and stands as the best-selling live album in United States music history.
There's still no word on a release date for Triple Live, but Brooks teased that more big news would be coming to Inside Studio G very soon. A special announcement about his historic Notre Dame show will come next Monday, with even more news about the event being revealed during that night's Inside Studio G Facebook broadcast.
