Annie Dineen
Annie Dineen has a degree in music business from New York University, but her real music education began with working within the walls of D.C.’s 9:30 Club, leading her to internships/jobs with RCA Records and The Recording Academy and independently managing a pop/hip-hop artist. She honed her writing skills at BroBible.com, covering topics ranging from new music and artist interviews to bikini models and lacrosse players’ hair.
Upon graduation, she traded New York for Nashville and headed south to launch her own country music site, The Shotgun Seat, focused on behind-the-scenes exclusives, up-and-coming artists, and the incredible songwriting community in and out of Nashville.
When she’s not writing, she can be found driving around aimlessly with the windows down blasting old David Nail or Eric Church songs. Her first loves are Netflix, fires, and eating other peoples’ home cooking, and she has an annoying obsession with the correct grammatical usage of ‘was’ versus ‘were.’
