When blogger Christy Keane took a video of her baby hearing her voice for the first time, she knew it was a tender moment, but she never realized it would touch so many others.
Keane recorded her daughter Charlotte's reaction during her first use of new hearing aids. In a video posted to her Instagram account, Keane shared little Charly's reaction when she first hears her mother's voice for the first time, and it's precious.
Little Charly smiles at first, and then her chin begins to quiver as she looks overcome with emotion. "Are you going to be emotional like mama?" Christy asks.
When the happy mama says "I love you," you can see Charly look as if she might cry, overwhelmed with the enormity of being able to hear. You can watch the entire adorable moment above.
It's incredible how such intense feelings can exist inside such a tiny, brand new human. Keane's Instagram is full of pictures of her journey toward hearing for her infant daughter.
Babies are little bundles of joy and happiness, and watching them experience everything for the first time is exciting for parents. In this case, it was particularly poignant watching baby Charly experiencing a whole new sense that we often take for granted.
