This week in the blind auditions on NBC's The Voice season 19, teams were filling their final spots quickly. One contestant, Bailey Rae, really made an impact because multiple coaches wanted her but had already filled their teams. But John Legend wasted no time hitting his button to secure the country artist's spot on Team Legend.

18-year-old Bailey Rae did an incredible job covering Lee Ann Womack's "Does My Ring Burn Your Finger" so it's no wonder Legend needed no convincing to turn his chair. But before he was even able to say anything, Blake Shelton spoke up. It was quickly established that Bailey Rae was from Roberta, Oklahoma. Gwen Stefani excitedly told the singer she's aware or Roberta, Okla., which is most likely nearby Shelton's Oklahoma ranch.

"I wanna do something that's unprecedented," Shelton started. "Is that a word? My team is full right now but I wanna push my chips in for the battle rounds when John completely screws this thing up. So, I'm gonna go ahead and make a pitch right now if that's okay with you. You have a coach, I'm sorry about the coach you ended up with."

The country singer had all three coaches laughing as he made his humorous pitch to steal the young singer later on in the show to bring her over to Team Blake.

"John is one of my favorite people on the planet, I love him. He is a horrifying coach. He's going to mess this up and when he does in the battle rounds, your neighbor, Blake Shelton's gonna be there with a steal. And I'm just telling you right now, that when Kelly hits her button to steal you, I will already have my cards on the table."

But Legend had nothing but kind words for his new team member and said she was killin' her rendition of the Lee Ann Womack song. Kelly Clarkson even said she heard some of Womack in her voice.

"You have the distinction of being the first country artist that I've had the privilege of coaching," Legend said. "I'm very excited to coach you Bailey Rae and Blake is going to eat all his words."

We can't wait to keep watching to see what's in store for Bailey Rae next week and if Blake does end up stealing her down the road. Follow along with the singer on social media as well for more updates from Bailey Rae Music.
