"Barbara Bush was a fabulous First Lady and a woman unlike any other who brought levity, love, and literacy to millions," George W. Bush said in a statement. "To us, she was so much more. Mom kept us on our toes and kept us laughing until the end. I'm a lucky man that Barbara Bush was my mother. Our family will miss her dearly, and we thank you all for your prayers and good wishes."

For most of my career, I haven?t been diligent in archiving photos of me w/ notable folks.
Today, I regret the fact.
Somewhere, there exist photos of Barbara Bush & me deep in conversation and laughter during a marvelous evening in early 90?s.
She always inspired me. Godspeed. https://t.co/DE90l7vYwK— Chely Wright (@chelywright) April 18, 2018
