Luke Combs is riding high off the success of not one, but two huge singles. Now he's giving fans a taste of new music, including "Beer Never Broke My Heart," which he played in Madison, Wisc.
With just an acoustic guitar, Combs belts out the chorus in his signature guttural drawl, to the delight of his fans. When he hits that chorus tag, the whoopin' and hollerin' let you know just how many people feel the same.
The raucous tune isn't too far thematically from his recent hits, either. Both "Hurricane" and "When It Rains It Pours" deal with heartbreak, albeit in different ways. Both of those tunes went to No. 1, and his current single "One Number Away" is slowly climbing the chart.
Combs released his debut album This One's For You in mid-2017. He also released an independent EP of the same name in 2015. But given he wrote a lot of t songs to just hit the radio a few years ago, it makes sense that he's itching to play new music for fans.
Luke Combs is currently on tour all the way into June, including a few appearances as Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium and even shows in Australia. Several shows on the Don't Tempt Me With A Good Time Tour are already sold out. He's bringing along Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker for most of those shows.
