Joanna and Chip Gaines may be synonymous with home renovation in their quaint Waco, Texas hometown, but they have established an entire television network. The network has been around since 2021, taking over the DIY network slot on Discovery +. Even though the Gaineses started the network after becoming household names from their hit HGTV show, Fixer Upper, they've branched out in their programming, offering everything from culinary programming to home renovations to gardening.

When it comes to finding talented people to showcase, the Gaineses take their jobs extremely seriously. In a 2022 interview with Variety, Joanna Gaines said, "... It's been this really authentic way of finding talent. It's either talent that we're just completely enamored with as far as what they do, what they're passionate about... I'd say most of our talent didn't come to us and say, 'I want to do a show.' We came to them and said, 'Can we highlight what you're doing? It's so amazing and inspiring.'"
There are dozens of shows to choose from on the network, so we've narrowed down the ones we think are the most worth watching.
Fixer Upper: Welcome Home
We think this is the perfect place to start your Magnolia Network journey, especially if you were a fan of the original Fixer Upper on HGTV. It's essentially the same as the OG Fixer Upper, but Chip and Joanna call all the shots. Unlike the original, the homes and buildings they are fixing up have been purchased, so viewers won't get to watch the tours or buying process of the buildings. On the plus side, viewers get more dedicated time to watching the couple work their design and demo magic. If you've never seen Fixer Upper or want to re-watch for nostalgia, you can find all five seasons on Magnolia Network.
In the Fixer Upper family, Magnolia Network also streams Fixer Upper: Behind the Design, and Fixer Upper: Castle, which focuses on restoring a real castle in Waco, Texas.
Restoration Road with Clint Harp
Those who watched Fixer Upper will be familiar with Clint Harp, the woodworking wizard who crafted many of Joanna Gaines' custom wood projects. On his show, Harp focuses on projects that preserve historical pieces and refurbish them to a fresh, new state. Viewers will watch him restore homes, as well as more unusual renovations like train cars and barns.
Magnolia Table With Joanna Gaines
Even though Joanna Gaines is known for her trendy designs for home renovations, she grew up wanting to have her own cooking show. The show's seven seasons focus on Joanna's favorite meals to cook up for her family and friends, where nothing is too complicated or overambitious for the home cook.
For the Love of Kitchens
If you love home renovation, particularly kitchen transformations, you'll feel like this show was made for you. Instead of focusing on tear-downs and remodels of entire homes, this series focuses on beautiful kitchen redesigns. The designers are Paul O'Leary and Helen Parker, who own the kitchen design firm, deVOL.
Inn the Works
This show highlights the work of fixing and renovating old motels. Instead of professional designers and decorators, the show focuses on Lindsey Kurowski and her three siblings, all of whom don't have backgrounds in renovations. The show combines the best parts of a traditional renovation show with family antics from reality TV.
Family Dinner
Andrew Zimmern stars in the series, which highlights the foods eaten throughout America. Zimmern travels to different families' homes in the country to sit down, have a meal, and explore culture through the different foods. Zimmern learns from his guests while also bringing some historical knowledge about the different types of cuisine to the table.
Super Dad
While many renovation shows focus on adult wants and needs, this one highlights designs made just for kids. Episodes feature a kid's fortress, a homemade zipline, and a full-size fairytale castle.
Maine Cabin Masters
This renovation series focuses exclusively on rustic cabins in the heart of Maine. The show focuses on updating decades-old cabins to modern times without losing their historic charms.
Van Go
Unlike a traditional renovation show where buildings are restored, this show highlights van renovations. Carpenter Brett Lewis works with families to design a functional house on wheels. Each van includes special features that are customized to specific client needs.
Zoë Bakes
This cooking show focuses exclusively on creating beautiful and delicious dishes from baker Zoë François. Even though François is a professional baker, her show breaks down cooking techniques into simple steps home cooks can master.
