Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani aren't debuting a new reality show on E!, but, as Blake might say, it'd sure be cool if they did.
A skit on Saturday Night Live last weekend parodied E! Network's new lineup which included a show called Down Home with Blake & Gwen.
In the clip, Gwen (played by Melissa Villaseñor) and Blake (played by Luke Null) are seen sitting down to dinner and trying to sing together.
Literally surrounded by guitars, Villaseñor nails Stefani's trademark pout and Null has Shelton's accent down. In all, it's a hilarious take on the superstar odd couple.
Country star Jason Aldean opened the show, which was filmed almost exactly a week after the tragic Las Vegas shooting.
Though the two first gained prominence in vastly different musical genres (unlike Donnie and Marie, he's a little bit country, she's a little bit ska) they became romantically involved after working together as judges on NBC's hit show The Voice. The two even have done multiple duet performances over the past few seasons.
Shelton's new song "I'll Name the Dogs" sparked rumors that he and Stefani might be tying the knot before long.
