Does Blake Shelton Help Gwen Stefani With Her Fashion?

Blake Shelton's input informs Gwen Stefani's style in a practical way.

While on The Jennifer Hudson Show last Friday (Nov, 17), Blake Shelton weighed how much he missed being on The Voice, revealed a bizarre family Thanksgiving tradition and judged Niall Horan's fake Oklahoma accent. In another charming moment, the show's host and namesake asked Shelton if he had any sway over Gwen Stefani's impeccable fashion sense.

"I hope you don't say yes to this question, but do you help her with her style?," Hudson asked. "Because I don't know about that, Blake."

Shelton admitted that he keeps an eye on weather forecasts and makes sure he and Stefani dress for the conditions.

"I will help her with how to be prepared if we're going to Oklahoma," Shelton said. "It's like, it's cold or it's hot there. Bring whatever stuff. Be ready."

So, Shelton does have some impact on the country glam style Stefani pulls off while home on the ranch.

For a different side of Shelton and Stefani's marriage, watch them compete against each other on Barmageddon, a USA Network game show co-hosted by Shelton and family friend Carson Daly.

"She's more of the supportive person, so I've never seen her as super competitive ... until she plays against me on Barmageddon!" Shelton said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "All of a sudden, it's like flipping me off really close to my face. Saying, 'You're going down!' I've never heard her say, 'Let's go!' like Tom Brady. Now she's saying, 'Let's go!'"

Shelton and Daly are joined once again by host Nikki Garcia, who was formerly known as WWE's Nikki Bella.

"What we were aiming for was real-life The Hangover," Shelton told People last December. "We wanted to try to capture that in a TV show with people that we know."

"Back in the day, I would say the 28-year-old version of Blake Shelton on Barmageddon [would have been] way different than the 46-year-old version now," he added. "Now I like to watch other people do stupid stuff — not necessarily be the one doing it."
