Basically made for caramel to drizzle on top, the new Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough is made with smooth Milk Chocolate Ice Cream with peanut butter cookie dough pieces and milk chocolate chunks.
It's only available for a limited time in pint sizes and half gallons. When I first read the title, I was imagining a chocolate and tasty peanut butter swirl ice cream with chunks of cookie dough, similar to their cookie dough ice cream. The great-tasting combination, though, of peanut butter cookie dough sounds like it will keep the carton from tasting too rich and decadent.
After all, whatever Blue Bell is whipping together up there in Brenham, Texas, whether it's an ice cream with chocolate-coated cone pieces or their tasty vanilla ice cream, Homemade Vanilla, is just plain good. No one makes ice cream flavors quite like their new concoction. When will you head to the store to try out the new cookie dough flavor?
I bet this would taste delicious with caramel and crumbled Ritz crackers on top for some crunch.
