Blue Bell's New Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream is Here for Spring

Nothing says spring more than bare toes in the grass and a mouth full of fresh strawberries. Our favorite Texas creamery, Blue Bell Ice Cream has announced the arrival of one of their fan favorites just as the sun is starting to peek out behind the winter clouds. Hello, Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, you've been missed.

Available in a half gallon container, the rich cheesecake ice cream features cheesecake pieces, succulent strawberries, and swirls of delicious strawberry sundae sauce. The limited time flavor is available starting today, so make sure to check your grocery freezers ASAP!

The return of strawberry cheesecake ice cream comes only a short time after the ice cream company announced another fruity favorite: Raspberry Fudge Brownie. The ice cream, which is available in half-gallons, feature a flavorful almond ice cream mixed with fudgy brownie bites, flakes of dark chocolate and raspberry sauce swirl.

One of the biggest characteristics of Blue Bell ice cream is the size of their containers. Weighing in at half a gallon, these ice creams can feed a crowd (or a family for a few weeks), so it's best to store your ice cream correctly to enjoy it whenever you are craving something sweet.

We recommend storing your ice cream in the back of your freezer and avoiding storing the container near the door, which fluctuates in temperature. The change in temperature can cause melting, which leads to ice crystals. None of those in my ice cream, please!

Once you remove it from the freezer, wait for a solid three to five minutes before scooping. While it's tempting to scoop straight from the freezer, your sore biceps will thank us later. Dipping your ice cream scoop in hot water can also make scooping a breeze.
