I live a few minutes from one of my favorite state parks and almost every Saturday we pack up some snacks and drinks and take the dog exploring to some of the best spots. You can beat the gorgeous views and just being outside. And if we're lucky, we get to watch my dog Abner, go for a quick swim. Did I mention she hates water?! I don't understand her sometimes.

Well, this park has a particular spot near the water where there are a ton of bushes with just an abundance of tiny, wild blueberries that are seriously the best blueberries I've ever had! We're always left with bags full that are too good to go to waste.
Whether you're going blueberry picking, growing them in a container, or grabbed a few containers at the grocery store, we've found a bunch of blueberry recipes just in time for blueberry season.
1. Blueberry Jam
No need to pick up blueberry jam at the store because this recipe is so easy! With just four ingredients- fresh blueberries, lemon juice, fruit pectin, and sugar, you'll probably just stick to the homemade recipe.
You can't beat that gorgeous dark purple color either. Here's the recipe.
2. Broccoli Blueberry Salad
Fresh blueberries aren't just for sweet dishes and desserts , they add great flavor to savory salads. This salad is packed with kale, broccoli, feta cheese, diced chicken, and of course blueberries! You can top this with the salad dressing of your choice, but the blueberry balsamic dressing is recommended.
The perfect salad for a hot summer day. Here's the recipe.
3. Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake
Creamy and luscious, there's a definite possibility that this lemon blueberry cheesecake won't last long on the dessert table! 4. Baked Blueberry Custard
This simple blueberry recipe can also pass to serve as a breakfast dish. The custard is sweet and the somewhat tart flavor from the fresh berries really bring this dish together.

5. Blueberry Butter
I don't know about you, but I'm thinking about whipping up a batch of fluffy biscuits and this blueberry butter first thing in the morning! That purple color is so pretty, too.
This blueberry recipe is also fitting for vegans-just use a non-dairy butter spread. Store this in the refrigerator in mason jars so you always have it on hand. Here's the recipe.
6. Blueberry Lemon Tart
There's something so comforting about blueberry pie, but a tart is just as tasty and so elegant looking. Cream cheese pastry cream filling is spread inside of a cornmeal shortbread crust and then topped with a fresh blueberry topping.
It doesn't get better than this! Here's the recipe.
7. Blueberry Granola Breakfast Popsicles
I will gladly have a blueberry granola breakfast popsicle to get my morning going. A stack of blueberry pancakes wouldn't hurt either!
These popsicles are a healthy treat and definitely something to look forward to bright and early. Frozen or fresh blueberries work for this recipe, too. Here's the recipe.
8. Blueberry Ice Cream
There's a local creamery just a few minutes from my house and every summer they have blueberry ice cream on the menu. It's creamy, rich, and you can really taste that delicious blueberry flavor. It's also the perfect ice cream to use for a blueberry milkshake.
If you're a serious blueberry fanatic, try adding a scoop or two on top of blueberry cobbler or blueberry pie. Here's the recipe.

12. Blueberry Muffins
There are a lot of blueberry muffin recipes out there, but I always like recipes that include yogurt or sour cream in the batter because it adds a nice tangy flavor to the muffins. It also helps keep them from drying out.
