Kris Kristofferson has had quite the film career, but it seems fellow actor Bradley Cooper wants in on his music career, too. The Silver Linings Playbook actor made a surprise appearance during Kristofferson's set at the Glastonbury Festival last week.

The U.K. festival is one of the world's most famous, and draws singers from all genres play the event. But apparently actors get in on the gig now, too.
Bradley Cooper appeared on stage before Kris Kristofferson, performing with cameras blazing. The catch? His guitar wasn't actually turned up. That's because Cooper and company used the festival for his upcoming film. Yep, the whole appearance was for a movie.

Cooper directs and stars in the upcoming 2018 remake of A Star Is Born. The famous film has three previous versions, including a 1976 one starring none other than Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand.
In pictures from the surprise moment, Cooper does his best Kristofferson imitation. With long hair and a grizzled beard, he certainly looks the part. In the film, Cooper plays an actor helping a young singer achieve fame, despite his own career spiraling downward.

Pop superstar Lady Gaga stars opposite of Cooper in the role. In addition to Streisand, Judy Garland played that role in the 1954 version of the film. Gaga and Cooper also filmed scenes at Coachella earlier in the year.
After Cooper and crew got their shots, he thanked the crowd. Then he warmly introduced Kristofferson, who took the stage to thunderous applause.

But Cooper wasn't the only famous actor to share the stage with Kristofferson during the set. Johnny Depp also showed up, this time actually singing alongside Kristofferson. The pair performed "Sunday Morning Coming Down" and "The Silver Tongued Devil And I" together.
Depp, of course, started as a rocker before making it as an actor. His pal Brad Pitt watched side stage. Talk about star power.
