Brantley Gilbert will soon take on the role of a proud papa. The "Bottoms Up" singer is expecting his first son with wife Amber later this year.

According to People, the big news was revealed during an intimate gender reveal party earlier this week. Gilbert shot a balloon with one of his own rifles to reveal a cloud of blue dust during the event.
"When the blue cloud went up, well, that made it even more real," he explained. "Now we know it's a little boy, and he's gonna have to get ready for a whole lot of love."
Earlier this year, the country singer revealed he and his wife Amber were expecting after having difficulty conceiving. Gilbert is one of multiple country stars expecting a new bundle of joy in the coming months. Thomas Rhett and Jason Aldean are patiently waiting for the birth of their children, while Randy Rogers and Lee Brice just welcomed new daughters in the past few weeks.

Before his new son arrives, Brantley will be out on the road with his The Devil Don't Sleep Tour through the end of September.
