Brent Cobb Plots Lengthy Ain't a Road Too Long Tour

Grammy nominee Brent Cobb just announced May dates for his already lengthy Ain't a Road Too Long Tour.

The string of headline dates takes Cobb to much quainter venues than the arenas he's playing as part of Miranda Lambert's Livin' Like Hippies Tour. Cobb already had plans to spend most of March and April touring the South, Midwest and East Coast. Now his itinerary lasts until the early summer, with stops in the Southwest and West Coast. Each stop allows Cobb to reconnect with fans made while touring extensively in recent years with Jamey Johnson, Nikki Lane and other modern-day outlaws.

Cobb's most ambitious headlining tour follows the breakthrough success of his 2016 major label debut, Shine On Rainy Day. It's up for the Best Americana Album Grammy and was produced by famous cousin Dave Cobb.

The tour shares its name with a recent digital single and video. The song celebrates the common workers, from the guy cooking eggs at the local breakfast hot spot to the staff at the venue, that make touring a relatively comfortable way to make a living.
