Brothers Osborne paid tribute to one of the genre's most beloved legends during the 2017 CMA Awards.

The duo performed their hit "It Ain't My Fault," which already won Video of the Year earlier this evening. Before wrapping things up, they opted to honor one country star we lost earlier this year. Don Williams passed away on Sept. 8, the same day that the country music community mourned the loss of Troy Gentry. Eddie Montgomery, Dierks Bentley and Rascal Flatts honored Gentry with a stirring cover of Montgomery Gentry's "My Town." Brothers Osborne followed suit by covering Williams' trademark hit "Tulsa Time."
There are few artists who can cover a legend with style and substance, and Brothers Osborne did both with ease. Instead of bringing a somber mood, their guitar-heavy rendition captured the spirit of Williams' talents and bright personality. During a night full of performances, they showed how to capture the attention of a crowd full of the industry's biggest names.
