The designers took their time designing the property's rustic cabins, giving each its own custom design and decor. Just outside the cabins is a spacious courtyard, perfect for lounging around your personal firepit with a wool blanket.
Inside the cabins, luxury is the name of the game. They feature things like high-quality linens, state-of-the-art kitchens, custom bowling lane desks and bunk beds in some units.
If you'd rather try out a different sort of living space, you can also rent a modern Airstream Bambi. It's a 22' foot model with a full kitchen, self-check-in option, flat screen television, sitting area and shower.
According to Country Living, the property also comes with an interesting history. It originally served as the Comfort Turn Verein, which helped preserve the German-American heritage of the people of Comfort, Texas.
The goal was to promote social interaction and physical fitness among the men of the village. To help with this goal, designers worked gymnastic equipment into different parts of the property. A bowling alley also became a part of the overall design.
Currently, the properly is set up as a self-service B&B. Guests can use everything at their leisure and pretty much check-in and out on their own.
