Candied Pecan Bourbon
Sweet and nutty, this candied pecan bourbon is the perfect cocktail to serve while sitting on the porch watching the sun set.
Ingredients
For the Candied Pecan Simple Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup turbinado sugar
- 10 chopped candied pecans
For The Cocktail
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1/2 oz vodka
- 1 Tbsp candied pecan simple syrup
Instructions
For the Candied Pecan Simple Syrup
- In small saucepan mix together water, sugar, and candied pecans. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved. Take off heat and strain out pecans. Cool.
For The Cocktail
- Add bourbon, vodka, and simple syrup in a glass. Add ice and stir.
Notes
Refrigerate your leftover pecan simple syrup and use it for other cocktails and drinks.
Make your own candied pecans by cooking 1 cup of pecans in 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 2 Tbsp. water for about 5 minutes.
