Your coffee and ice cream just got a little bit more decadent. Whether you like your whipped cream on chocolate pudding, brownies, cheesecake, or cupcakes, this new whipped cream product from Hershey's is sure to make you sing with joy. Last year the brand released two flavored whipping cream (Hershey's Milk Chocolate and Reese's Peanut Butter) and dessert lovers loved the new options so much that the brand decided to release a new flavor: caramel whipped cream.

The caramel-flavored dairy topping was first spotted at Woodman's, a regional supermarket chain based in Wisconsin, by Instagrammer @candyhunting. According to Instagram comments, the whip cream sounds like a treat you need to taste to believe.
Unfortunately, we still do not know when the product will be rolled out nationwide. In the meantime, however, it's pretty fun to make your own caramel whipped cream with heavy whipping cream and caramel sauce.
How to Make Caramel Whipped Cream
With only two ingredients, this homemade caramel whipped cream is almost too simple to make. Start with a cold mixing bowl (you can achieve this by popping it in the fridge for a few minutes) and get out your trusty electric mixer or stand mixer. Whip 1 cup heavy cream on medium speed until the cream starts to thicken and soft peaks form.
Next, drizzle in 3 Tablespoons caramel sauce into the large bowl. Continue to beat on medium speed until stiff peaks form and use immediately. You can also turn this into a salted caramel whipped cream by adding in a pinch of kosher salt or sea salt.
Use your whipped cream either as a topping for your hot cocoa, as a filling between your cake layer, or even as a snack if you feel like licking the spoon.
